A*sholes at work!

Have you noticed there are more a*seholes in the workplace?

Terminator had the rise of the machines - workplaces, it seems, have the rise of the a*sehole and/or narcissistic a*sehole (I am sure there are some stats around that)!

The problem with a*seholes... aside from being a*seholes... is that some of them don't know they are a*seholes. Let's call them the blind a*sehole. Narcissistic a*sholes are different...they know they are a*seholes... they just don't care.

In my experience, a*seholes aside, there is nothing more dangerous than an a*sehole with power. If you want a sh*t time at work, an a*sehole with power will really fukc things up. Particularly, an a*sehole with power surrounded by fans and/or lemmings.

What can you do? You have a few choices (a) strap yourself in and stay the course. This is a marathon not a sprint. Or (b), get out... find a job with a better ratio of a*sehole to nice guy. BTW - there is no utopia out there friend - why do you think so many women start their own businesses!

You also need to choose a personal strategy. You can either be a lemming or a fan. Neither taste good. For the idealist - you could try and be Switzerland. Let me know how that goes!

If you like a challenge - quietly challenge, just under the radar. It's like poking an angry cat who is holding a snake. But hey... that might be your thing.

🚦 If you are in the workforce - stop being an a*sehole - right now! Please!!!!!

🚦 If you identify as a narcissistic a*sehole... do the rest of us a favour, stop being an a*sehole , and get yourself some help.
