Well well well Hello June!
They say time flies when you are having fun. It hardly seems like 5 minutes ago that it was January. A re-cap from me:-
I stepped out of my corporate role into a 'portfolio/slasher' career. Teaching, writing, extending on my research & training
I gave up alcohol (OMG)!!!! YES I DID!
I've still been dabbling in gardening, de-stressing, minimising and simplifying my life
I am in the final practical assessments of my Life Coaching qualification
I had the opportunity to present at the Shared Services and Outsourcing Australasia Week Conference in Melbourne
...and I've had an abstract accepted for a book chapter in the series "Wellbeing and Self-care in Higher Education: Embracing Positive Solutions"!
When I look back I'm happy with what I've managed to achieve. Some of it has been scary and daunting, and I've had to put myself out there. But you know what - I've also learnt there are plenty of people to help and support you along the way, and that PROGRESS beats Perfection - EVERY TIME!!!!
I don't want to say that being diagnosed with a 'shitty titty' was a game-changer for me but it sure as hell was a call to action and gave me some courage.
I want to live my best life, that might look different to yours, and that is ok. Each of us is an experiment of one (George Sheehan). Peeps go forth and kick butt!
Regards Kym xxxoo
